I have always had a major love affair with Target. My bestie, Ashley, and I were known for getting lost in a Target for hours when we were bored in college. And I still notice myself doing it today.
So, you can imagine how much I love all the Target Designer collaborations over the years. I have pieces from their collabs with Proenza Schouler, Cynthia Vincent, Liberty, Loeffler Randall, Eugenia Kim and Hayden-Harnett. It’s also fair to say that I am really looking forward to what Mulberry and Tucker have coming with Target in the fall.
But, the following collaboration is one that I am most excited/intrigued by. Simon Doonan, Creative Director at Barney’s, is doing a line of Halloween costumes. I think he summed the style of costumes all up when he said, “The witch is a ‘Diva Witch’ and her dress says ‘Honk if I’m fierce.’”
